Workshop in Uganda

Last week, postdoctoral researcher Nella van den Brandt co-organised with Dr. Lydia Namatende-Sakwa a workshop at The School of Women and Gender Studies at Makerere University in Uganda. Their workshop was entitled: “Kneeling to Conquer: Reading Women’s Resistance, Subversion, Negotiation, and Complicity to Structures of Difference and Dominance in Various Context”. Their presentations led to an interesting and relevant discussion with an engaging audience.
